This page is dedicated to free resources that are designed to distract you temporarily.
If you’ve already tried my stress hacks, kids stress hacks and sleep hacks pages but need something quick to tide you over…
If you’re on hold to a support line and sitting in a queue waiting to talk to someone…
If you’re experiencing stress and just need a break from it…
This page is for you!

I’ve put together a selection of free resources that act as small distractions while you’re sat on hold, upset or nervous. these are tools that I’ve created myself, all designed to keep you busy.
Senses – using touch, taste, smell, sight and noise we can distract ourselves quickly. I have ideas, including a search and find picture, on my Sensory Distractions page.
Breathing – remember to use breathing techniques to relax a little. Instructions and external links are available on my Breathing Techniques page.
Arty, cheeky, positivity – I’ve created a page of positive quotes (some with a cheeky twist!) to remind you how amazing you are. Visit the Cheeky Artwork page to see them.
Read some poems – visit my Crap Poems page to read a selection of awful poems I’ve written for fun
Learn some new words – I’ve developed a page of weird and wonderful words that you may never have heard of. Visit the Weird Words page to see more
Read some Haikus – visit the Haiku Hope page of the website to read some simple haikus that I’ve written over the years
I also have some beautiful colouring pages coming soon.
I hope you find these ideas helpful, but if you have any ideas or suggestions for the stress hacks pages then please contact me. I’d love to hear from you!
