I don’t know why I’m so drawn to them, but lately I have been drawing a lot of flowers.
I especially love them with droplets as I think it gives the flowers more realism and something interesting than just another boring tulip.
Today I completed this work and it’s probably my best one to date. I’m really starting to understand the relationship between the light and shadow, especially within the droplets.
I really enjoyed this one, but my next will either be a more complex flower or a fruit tree. I’m also trying to push myself to learn how to draw cartoon people – something I’ve always struggled with.
