Haiku hope part 3 – The Fan

Close. I hate it when people use this word to describe the temperature, and my partner has been wittering it for days.

Are you finding it dull and hot? Those pointless summer days when you sweat but don’t even see the sunshine are pointless aren’t they?

So my latest Haiku Hope is dedicated to my saviour when it gets warm – my fan.

The Fan

Warm weather be gone!

Sweat glistens and shines my brow

No charge. Pointless fan.

So that’s part 3 done, and even now I’m looking at a fan with a blinking light of doom. A blinking light of doom that indicates the battery is about to submit, so sweat and discomfort await me.

Roll on winter!
