Welcome back to another haiku hope, this time focussing on life with Long Covid and the differences in my world since i started experiencing symptoms.
The point of the haikus I write is supposed to be fun, so while LC is a massively miserable pain in the arse, I am still able to smile about it from time to time (true story 😜).
Remember, the haiku hope project (along with crap poems and weird words) was originally part of the Creative Coping Strategies Campaign. However, CCS has changed this year and been replaced with the COPE Campaign (Creativity Opposing Painful Existence) which is now a bit broader, promoting the same fun and engaging ways of bolstering mental AND physical pain. More information is available on the COPE campaign page.
Anyway, here is my latest haiku. I hope you like it!

Long haul haiku
Long walks, long talks and
long warm evenings. Why isn’t
Long Covid as fun?
