Haiku Hope 16 – Trust

Hello again, and welcome to another haiku hope.

This time I’m using the 5, 7, 5 format to talk about trust (in a teeny tiny way!), and hopefully explain in a nutshell how easy it is to break my faith in someone.

Trust is something earned and not necessarily over time. Often it’s about knowing someone with whom you share mutual respect over your places on the planet.

I met a doctor last week for the first time – she came to my home and I was nervous as hell. I never have people here.

But you know what, within 10 minutes she had my trust because it was clear she’d got to know me long before she arrived. Not just me, but the world I exist in too.

Sometimes it doesn’t have to take years to create belief in someone. Sometimes it can take seconds.

Trust

You expect my trust,

Then shatter my mind and bones.

Have you earned that trust?
