Haiku hope 22 – BTS

Hello again and welcome to another haiku hope.

This one is parenting specific, and cover the feelings that get churned up at the end of the 6 week summer break.

I’ve loved having our daughter home, but there’s no denying that she makes life a bit more busy and tiring. Saying all that, I miss her enormously, and hope she’s having a great day with her friends instead of learning to draw with her boring mum.

Here’s my 22nd haiku.

BTS

6 weeks rambunctious

Gone in the blink of an eye

I miss you. Eyes close.

If you haven’t guessed, BYS stands for back to school!

Thanks for reading 💜
